Adam Koukoudakis discussed how his degree show launched his career and shared his tips for making money, getting press, keeping customers happy, making solid contacts and ordering his finances.

1. Target your audience Adam targeted one gallerist who represented Banksy and invited him to see his show. When the gallerist didn't show up, Adam was persistent and went over in person and invited him again. Adam then took the gallerist around the show, and made his first sale to him.

2. Making contacts Treat customers with time and respect whether they are buying something for a small amount of money, or something for a higher price. It develops good relationships and generates more work.

3. Get registered After making his first sales, Adam registered with the inland revenue and kept all his receipts – not very rock and roll but he says it's essential.
