Event details:
This event aims to look at different ways of working as a creative person. The guest speakers have developed innovative and creative ways of working, developing teams and managing a wide range of projects and clients. Each speaker will explain the models they have developed, the challenges they face and their own particular journeys and experiences.

The guest speakers are:

Raw Nerve is a design collective based in Deptford, London. At their core is a management team who bring together specialists in brand strategy, graphic design, digital media, animation, music and film. Members of the Raw Nerve collective move effortlessly from one platform to another, working as bespoke teams to provide clients with relevant, creative and intelligent ideas and responses. They never prescribe their house style – they don’t have one! Recent clients include: K Swiss; Diesel; Starch Music; Umbro; and Disco Sucks.

Leigh Clarke was born in Carshalton in 1973. He studied at Croydon School of Art and Design 1991-93, University of Brighton 1993-96 and the Royal College of Art London 1996-98. He is a Senior Lecturer at the London College of Communication and a Visiting Lecturer at the Royal Academy Schools London. His exhibitions include Self Storage Keith Talent Gallery Royal Academy of Arts London 2004 and a solo exhibition Feedback Vertigo Gallery London 2003. Other projects include numerous performances including collaborations with Bob and Roberta Smith. His curated projects include Stage Fright, a spoken word and music album 2005.


Matthias Megyeri is the Director of Sweet Dreams Security, a design company that takes a fresh approach to security products. He has worked on high profile commissions for clients such as Paul Smith as well as exhibiting at MOMA in New York and Amsterdam with droog® design. Matthias was also awarded a Creative Pioneer award by NESTA (National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts)
