Considering a career in photography, styling or make-up? Fancy yourself as an entrepreneur? Hear from the experts about the highs and lows of being your own boss in the fashion industry.

11.00am Lee Lapthorne
Founder of On¦Off and doll, Lee has carved out a niche in the UK fashion scene supporting all levels of the industry. A real innovator, Lee will be sharing his story and insider tips for success.

11.45am Justine Foord
Retoucher and digital artist Justine has successfully collaborated with leading fashion photographers in New York and London including duo Mert & Marcus and closely nurturing the career of Miguel Reveriego. A true visionary, Justine has been responsible for the post production of many of the most recognisable and iconic fashion campaigns of the last 10 years.

Meet the speakers, and network with other students, graduates and industry members.

1.30pm Louise Constad
Leading make-up artist Louise Constad has worked across feature films, commercials and television for over 20 years. She has collaborated with numerous photographers of note including Herb Ritts, Mario Testino, Rankin and David Bailey, and was personal make up artist to Juliette Binoche and Kristin Scott-Thomas on Anthony Minghella’s The English Patient. A savvy business woman, Louise was Max Factor’s official European spokesperson for seven years, and has also established her own Beauty Queen school, running events and selling her own range of brushes and accessories.

2.15pm Azim Hasham
Azim Hasham’s entrepreneurial streak has navigated him, via the world of interior design, to set up Voodoo Blue, a social enterprise producing sisal bags and accessories. The company has been using sisal to rejuvenate the basket weaving tradition of the Akamba women in Kenya since 1995. All products are of exceptional quality and pure design, and are fairly traded with women themselves establishing the buying price. Azim has forged deals for the products to be sold in Liberty, Heals, Margaret Howell, DKNY and Conran Worldwide amongst others. Azim will discuss the highs and lows of having your own business, and how to turn ideas into reality.
